The City of Richland Hills is seeking a Recreation Coordinator. This position performs a variety of customer service, data gathering, office work, facility cleaning, and desk and program supervision. In addition, this position will be primarily responsible for planning and directing summer camp and out-of-school activities, meeting customer needs, including answering the phone, greeting walk-ins, touring perspective memberships, providing program and facility information, and assisting with rentals, as well as assisting the management team with certain aspects of operations.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and experience in person-to-person customer service, cash handling and/or recreational or related experience; in addition, must be willing to work as part of a team; provide a high level of service to our customers. Prefer two years of college education with the field of childcare, recreation or related field and some supervision experience. Possession of an appropriate, valid Texas Class C Driver's License with a good driving record. CPR, AED and First Aid certifications preferred; must have the ability to acquire within six months of employment.
Starting range is $34,926- $43,657 depending on qualifications.
The City participates in the Texas Municipal Retirement System (TMRS) at a 7% employee deposit rate with a City matching ratio of 2:1.
