Job summary

Green Chimneys is seeking a Kitchen Worker for our summer camp season in Kentucky. This temporary/seasonal role handles prep work, food service for residents and staff, and maintaining a clean kitchen environment. Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent; culinary education/experience is a plus.

Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others are essential. Must be 18 years or older.

The Kitchen Worker's responsibilitiesinclude prep work, maintaining cleanliness of kitchen area, preparing/servingfood for residents/staff, cleaning pots/dishes, sweeping/mopping for the campstaff.

Must have High School diploma (orequivalent), culinary education/experience a plus. Good verbal, written andcommunications skills along with superior organizational ability andinterpersonal skills required. Must be able to take and follow directions aswell as have a positive attitude and be able to work well with others. Must be18 years of age or older.

This is a temporary summer position for our summer camp sessions. This positionis not benefit eligible.

*International applicants’ salary is basedon sponsoring agencies pocket money agreement and/or experience. Stipend rangebetween $1200 - $2700 for the summer season. Room and board is also provided tointernational staff for the duration of the season.
