Greater Raleigh JCC /Jewish Federation of Greater Raleigh is seeking a Camp JCC Director to lead all aspects of Camp JCC, including program development, staffing, safety, and partnerships. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Recreation, Youth Development, Jewish Studies, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 4-7 years of leadership experience in camp, youth programming, recreation, education, or a related setting.
• Demonstrated success in supervising staff, managing programs, and overseeing budgets.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build relationships with children, families, staff, and community partners.
• Commitment to fostering inclusive environments and delivering exceptional participant experiences.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and extended summer schedules as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership, direction, and management for Camp JCC programs and services.
• Ensure programs deliver a welcoming, safe, high-quality experience aligned with the mission.
• Create an inclusive environment for campers, families, staff, and community partners.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate camp programming for growth and innovation.
• Establish policies and procedures to support effective program delivery.
• Maintain all required records, policies, and procedures.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, train, supervise, coach, and evaluate seasonal staff.
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels and effective scheduling.
• Foster a positive team culture with accountability and collaboration.
• Provide ongoing professional development and mentorship for staff.
• Manage employee performance and retention.
