The major responsibility of the Camp Counselor is to assist in the daily delivery of a wide variety of developmentally appropriate programs and activities. Participate in all activities and ensure that campers participate as well.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily delivery of developmentally appropriate programs and activities.
• Supervise and discipline campers within designated areas and throughout the camp/clubhouse as appropriate.
• Participate in collaborative programs, events, and field trips with staff from other clubhouse groups and community organizations.
• Participate in evaluation efforts, including the annual member survey.
• Maintain materials, equipment, and resources; keep the camp/program area safe and clean.
• Travel between sites and to activities as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Directors.

Position Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Experience working with children/youth preferred.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours.
