Are you ready for a summer full of adventure, laughter, and the chance to inspire young people? The Kent County YMCA is looking for enthusiastic and energetic Summer Camp Counselors to create unforgettable experiences for campers while making a real impact in our community!
As a Summer Camp Counselor, you’ll be a mentor, leader, and role model—guiding kids through exciting outdoor adventures, creative arts, team-building challenges, and character-building activities. Whether you’re leading a hike, organizing a water balloon relay, or helping a camper try something new, you will play a key role in creating a positive and enriching camp experience.
This is a full-time (40 hr/week) seasonal position starting in early June. 8-hour shifts are scheduled between 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday-Friday. The last day of camp is August 22, 2025. Camp Counselors are expected to commit to working a full 9 weeks of camp plus one week of staff orientation in early June.
