Job summary

University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point seeks a University Camp Coordinator to partner with Conference and Event Services for the Summer Camps and Conferences Program. You will run safety meetings, assemble counselor safety packets, assist with communications, and liaise between directors and staff, May 15th–August 15th, 2026.

Note the role is a student, hourly position at $13.50/hour, requiring enrollment as a part-time student and reporting to the Event Coordinator.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check required by University Centers.
• Demonstrate leadership and organizational skills.
• Able to work with limited or no supervision.
• Typical work weeks: 25 or more hours, up to 40 hours.

Responsibilities

• Run camp counselor safety meetings and organize packets.
• Assist with camp communications and act as liaison between camp directors and staff.
• Take notes during meetings with camp directors.
