Qualifications

Camp Walt Whitman (www.campwalt.com), a traditional children’s sleepaway camp in Piermont, New Hampshire, is seeking a cook to join our culinary team this summer. We are looking for candidates with the following skills and qualifications:

• Experience in commercial/institutional large quantity food production.
• Skills in preparing and cooking a wide range of quality foods from scratch.
• Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.
• Willingness and ability to complete tasks including meal preparation, clean-up, kitchen maintenance, and inventory assistance.
• Strong professional references and the ability to pass a background check.

Details

Dates: June 12 to August 11.

Salary: $750/week, plus travel to camp, room, and board.
