Job summary

Cub Creek Science Camp is seeking motivated team members for the summer program. You’ll support cabin counselors, guide camper behavior, and coordinate events in an immersive outdoor setting. Earn leadership skills through hands-on supervision and mentorship of youth.

Position involves on-site duties, collaboration with directors, and opportunities for professional certifications. Competitive pay is provided for the 11-week season with on-site housing, meals, and store credit.

Qualifications

• Majors in Psychology, Social Work, Education, Child Development or related fields.
• Strong communication, empathy, problem solving and active listening.
• Comfortable working in outdoor settings with youth and staff.

Responsibilities

• Support cabin counselors and foster a safe, inclusive environment.
• Address camper emotional needs and refer incidents as needed.
• Communicate updates to parents, counselors, and camp directors.
• Plan and execute special camp activities with program directors.
• Enforce safety procedures and daily health compliance.
