Job summary

Terrain is seeking a Buying Intern for the Summer to support daily operations in designated buying areas and to learn cross-functional relationships with market, distribution center, design, and production. The URBN internship runs at our Philadelphia home office, with hands-on experiences across brands and a path to full-time opportunities.

The program runs from 6/7 through 8/13 and is open to rising seniors; applications close 5:00 PM EST on Oct 30, 2026.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail oriented in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
• Understanding of customer wants and needs and trend identification.
• Ability to prioritize projects and handle multiple tasks.
• Creative thinking with basic retail math knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Open packages and distribute to the Buyer for review.
• Organize sample areas and manage samples for style-outs.
• Coordinate web turnover, press previews, and meetings with Buyers.
• Handle mail and emails; distribute to assistants.
• Take photos and manage picture packs for items.
