Job summary

Covestro AG in Pittsburgh, PA is offering a Business Internship that provides firsthand exposure to sales, marketing, product management and business support within a global polymers and plastics company.

You'll work closely with commercial professionals during a 12-week program starting mid-May 2027, with opportunities to visit a plant or warehouse and gain hands-on insight into how Covestro develops products and serves customers.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in industrial engineering or business studies.
• Completion of Freshman year.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Knowledge and Skills Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills including an ability to interact with and establish strong working relationships with diverse individuals.
• Project coordination with the ability to be proactive and identify creative, effective technical solutions.
• Demonstrated PC skills and ability to work within Microsoft Office Programs.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supporting projects that identify customer needs and opportunities in end‑use industries like automotive, appliance, construction, soft furniture and more.
• Assisting with product analysis and planning, which will require collaboration across sales, marketing, product management, supply chain, manufacturing, controlling and other functions.
• Leveraging AI tools to enhance efficiency and insights in support of the sales, marketing, product management and business support teams.
• Interfacing with colleagues across regions and functions within the organization
