Covestro offers an Engineering Internship in a West Virginia manufacturing environment. You will work with managers and scientists in the TPU or Performance Materials units, learning Covestro products, processes and opportunities for practical impact.

The program runs from mid-May 2027 for about 12 weeks, giving hands-on experience in process improvement, capital projects, and reliability enhancements while collaborating with research, applications, technology and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program with a focus on Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Chemistry.
• Completion of Freshman year.
• Willingness and ability to be placed in either of the aforementioned internship opportunities.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.

Responsabilités

• Assist in developing and implementing capital projects and process improvements.
• Support the Management of Change for process improvements and reliability initiatives.
• Collaborate with research, applications development, technology and engineering teams.
• Help to optimize production capacity, minimize waste, and ensure safe operations in compliance with regulations.
