Job summary

Anthropologie is seeking Summer 2027 Design Interns across Knits, Sleepwear, Structured Wovens, Pilcro Soft Wovens & Knits, and Print & Color to support the apparel design team from concept to final sample at our Philadelphia home office.

Interns will assist with mood boards, color palettes, trend research, sketching, CADs, and technical packages; gain exposure to line development, fittings, and cross‑functional collaboration with buying and production.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); experience with CLO 3D or similar software is a plus.
• Excellent sketching and visual communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating mood boards, color palettes, and seasonal concept presentations.
• Support the design team with sketching, CADs, and technical packages.
• Help source fabrics, trims, and inspiration materials for upcoming collections.
• Organize and maintain sample libraries, swatch books, and design archives.
• Participate in fittings, design reviews, and cross‑functional meetings with buying and production teams.
• Conduct trend and market research to support design direction and innovation.
• Assist in preparing line sheets, spec sheets, and internal presentation materials.
