Job summary

Graphcore is seeking a System Validation Engineering Intern in Austin for a 12-week summer program. You will validate server blades and racks for AI infrastructure, supporting test planning, automation, execution and debugging.

This role offers hands-on exposure to large-scale server validation with guidance from experienced engineers. You will work on post-silicon validation across hardware, firmware and platform components, triaging failures and tracking coverage.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program in computer engineering, electrical engineering or a related field.
• Interest in large-scale server, AI infrastructure, rack or embedded system validation environments.
• Exposure to hardware validation or debug for server systems through coursework, labs, projects or internships.
• Understanding of CPU, memory, IO, BIOS testing or system-level hardware behaviour.
• Experience with Linux or server operating systems, plus automation using Python or Bash.

Responsibilities

• Support test planning, automation, execution and debug for AI compute blades and racks.
• Provision system components, triage failures and track validation coverage.
• Work on post-silicon validation across system hardware, firmware and platform components.
• Contribute to defining validation goals and documenting evidence of test outcomes.
