Job summary

Graphcore is seeking a System Tests & Diagnostics Engineer in the Austin area to extend and integrate CPU, memory, and PCIe validation utilities with existing Arm-based diagnostics. The role focuses on developing diagnostic software that reveals data integrity issues, performance anomalies, and hardware instability across servers and AI accelerators.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in a technical field with hardware/SoC focus.
• Experience building hardware diagnostics and validation software.
• Strong debugging across hardware, firmware, OS, and drivers.

Responsibilities

• Learn and extend Arm diagnostics to Graphcore platforms.
• Develop diagnostics and stress tools for CPU, memory, PCIe, and system components.
• Build reusable validation utilities integrated into the existing framework.
• Expose intermittent hardware failures and improve fault isolation.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and validation teams to enhance observability.
