Job summary

Advanced Agrilytics is seeking summer interns in the agronomy field to assist with summer on-farm scouting and spatial research across the corn belt for the summer of 2027. Interns will engage in a variety of activities, depending on their area of primary interest.

All interns will gain experience in general agronomy, plant pathology, leadership, and data collection and evaluation. Positions involve field work at multiple research facilities, with collaboration among researchers and growers, and

Qualifications

• Must be task/project driven and able to work independently as well as in group settings.
• Effective communication with growers, agronomists, and other full-time employees.
• Willingness to work under on-farm and in-field conditions.
• Understanding of current farming practices is of benefit.

Responsibilities

• Scout research trials in a variety of different areas and environments.
• Trial implementation and data collection in-field with teams.
• Conduct plant sample processing and data entry at our facilities.
• Participate in soil sample collection efforts as needed.
• Work both independently and as part of a team.
• Communicate effectively with growers, agronomists, and staff.
