Job summary

Conserv FS invites qualified students to join the Exploring Agriculture Internship Program in Waterman, IL for Summer 2027. The intern will gain hands-on experience in agronomy operations under location management, with a focus on learning the foundations of the system and industry, and preparing for a future career.

The role includes field work, equipment maintenance, customer interactions, and training on crop nutrition, protection products, and crop monitoring technologies.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree or certification from a college or university
• Demonstrates ability to work independently and follow directions
• Strong communication and customer service mindset
• Willingness to travel and obtain required licenses (CDL, applicator)

Responsibilities

• Support agronomy operations and field activities
• Assist with facility and equipment maintenance and repair
• Visit Conserv FS locations and customers to build professional relationships
• Operate field research and crop monitoring equipment for scouting
• Assist with ordering, receiving, and inventory control
