Engage, connect, make a difference this summer by joining the Summer Adventures team!As a Special Education Paraprofessional with the Summer Adventures summer program, you will provide direct and indirect support to students with special needs ages Birth through age 21.Position Description/Qualifications:- Support academic programs designed by instructors, special and general education teachers including leading small groups, providing one-to-one follow-up, re-teaching/review, and keeping students on-task.
- Ability to work independently, exercise mature judgment and manage children’s behavior in a positive manner.
- High School Diploma required.
- Prefer candidate with AA degree. Additional post-secondary training relevant to children/adolescents/young adults preferred.
Schedule/ Hours:- Program Dates - June 13 through August 22, 2025. Closed June 19 & July 4.
- 8 hours per day. Shift start and end times vary by building.
Locations:- Christina Huddleston Elementary
- Eastview Elementary
- Highview Elementary
- John F Kennedy Elementary
Salary:- $17.30- $22.86 per hour depending on experience.
