Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)
• High School Diploma is required.
• Enrolled BA/BS program.
• Completion of 1 med/surgical clinical rotation and entering final year of nursing program.
• Maintain a GPA of at least 3.0.
• Education Specialization: Nursing

Responsibilities

• Assist in nursing care under direct supervision of a registered nurse preceptor.
• Attend didactic educational sessions during rotation.
• Follow preceptor’s work schedule and support patient care.
• Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement efforts and evidence-based practice.
• Engage in teamwork across inter- and intra-professional teams.
