Job summary

Stryker is offering a Finance or Accounting internship in Flower Mound, TX. You will gain hands-on experience supporting financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities, including budgeting and close processes.

You will build templates, work with ERP systems and Excel, and collaborate with teams across the country on a capstone case study project while preparing for a career in corporate finance or accounting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and remaining enrolled after the internship.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (verified at hire).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship now or in the future.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate and build relationships.
• Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Create and analyze accounting statements and reports to aid in financial statements.
• Support teams in developing and improving finance and accounting processes.
• Build ad-hoc templates and leverage ERP systems and Excel to automate reporting.
• Coordinate with departments on projections and budgets and communicate variances.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and participate in monthly close processes and reporting.
• Assist with development and maintenance of annual budgets.
• Collaborate with other Finance interns on a national case study project.

Majors Targeted: Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or related degree

What You Need

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field; must remain enrolled in a degree‑seeking program after the internship.
• Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above (verified at time of hire)
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require employment‑based sponsorship now or in the future.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to collaborate and build relationships
• Demonstrated leadership, problem‑solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

$20 min hourly wage – $35 max hourly wage, sign‑on bonus, 11 paid holidays annually, and either paid corporate housing or a living stipend, dependent upon hiring location
