Position Summary:
ATI is seeking a Process Engineering Intern for our Lockport Operations for summer 2027. The successful candidate will support engineering and operations teams in a heavy industrial metals manufacturing environment. This internship is designed for students pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related technical field. The intern will assist with process improvement projects, production support, data analysis, troubleshooting, and technical initiatives that improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance.

Potential Essential Functions:

The Process Engineer Intern may assist with the following responsibilities:

• Support process engineers with daily production activities, troubleshooting, and technical problem-solving.
• Assist with evaluating manufacturing processes such as melting, re-melting, or inspection.
• Collect, organize, and analyze process data to identify trends, variation, ineff
