Job summary

Salesforce, Inc. is seeking a Summer 2027 Content Design Intern to join a live product team in San Francisco. You’ll work with content designers, UX designers, researchers, and engineers on real features like onboarding, modals, and payment experiences.

You will use AI tools, craft in‑product content, and learn Salesforce's brand voice and design system guidelines while iterating with mentors and a cross‑functional team.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's from a North American school in a relevant field and returning to school after the internship.
• An online portfolio showing storytelling, UX writing, and user‑focused design thinking.
• Genuine curiosity about how words and design shape user experience and accessibility.
• Comfort giving and receiving feedback and adapting to shifting priorities and deadlines.
• Basic familiarity with Figma or similar tools; training provided if needed.
• Strong collaborator who communicates with PMs, engineers, designers, researchers, and writers.
• Ability to guide AI tools to achieve the desired outcomes.
• Experience with LLM coding assistants and agent-based tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Apply content design methods: audits, journey mapping, and competitive research on real features.
• Use AI tools to craft content and user flows efficiently.
• Write clear, concise in-product copy for onboarding flows, modals, notifications and UI surfaces.
• Partner with a mentor and cross-functional team to ideate, prototype and iterate solutions.
• Participate in user research and usability testing and translate findings into design decisions.
• Learn Salesforce brand voice and design system guidelines.
• Work hands-on with Claude, OpenCode, GitHub, Figma and design system components to build prototypes.
• Present work in critiques and incorporate feedback using a structured model.
• Advocate for customers in Content Design reviews and critiques.
