Job summary

Salesforce is hosting a Summer 2027 Content Design Intern in San Francisco. You’ll join a real product team, work with content designers, UX designers, researchers, PMs, and engineers on live features, and help shape onboarding flows, modals, and payment experiences.

You’ll use AI tools to craft in-app experiences, balance user needs with business goals, and gain hands-on experience in the product development process within a structured program.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in communications, product design, UI/UX design, HCI, cognitive science, user research, or related field and returning to school after the internship.
• Online portfolio showing storytelling, UX writing, and user-centered design.
• Genuine curiosity about how words and design decisions shape user experience and accessibility.
• Comfort giving and receiving feedback and adapting to priorities.

Responsibilities

• Apply standard content design methods to real features (audits, journey mapping, competitive research).
• Use AI tools to craft content and user flows.
• Write clear in-product copy for onboarding, modals, notifications, and UI surfaces.
• Collaborate with a mentor and cross-functional team to ideate and iterate solutions.
• Participate in user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
• Learn Salesforce’s brand voice, tone, and design system guidelines.
• Work with tools like Claude, OpenCode, GitHub, Figma and design system components to build prototypes.
