Enterprise Holdings in Glen Allen, VA offers an Accounting Intern position with real-world training in financial management and basic accounting procedures. This full-time summer internship runs May–August 2027 and pays $20.00/hour, based at our administrative headquarters.

You will assist with accounts payable/receivable, financial statement prep, and analytics, working closely with rental branches and other departments.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled full-time in a college/university in a bachelor's degree program in Accounting or Finance with a graduation date by December 2027 or May 2028
• Experience in accounting, accounts payable/receivable or bookkeeping preferred
• Must have basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

• Assist in preparing financial statement & analysis

• Review analytics and Key Performance Indicators of business
• Assist accounting managers with reports, etc.
• Involved with A/P & A/R functions; cash receipts
• Assist in accounting schedules & reconciliations
• Perform miscellaneous administrativeduties as needed

This is a Full-Time Summer Internship beginning in May 2027 and ending in August 2027 that pays $20.00/hour. This position is based out of our administrative headquarters in Glen Allen, VA.

*We will begin interviewing for this position in October

Responsibilities

Starting as anAccounting Intern, you will be exposed to basic accounting procedures and principles ranging from accounts payable and receivable systems to financial statement, preparation, and analysis. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Assist in preparing financial statement & analysis
• Work closely with rental branches and other departments
• Review analytics and Key Performance Indicators of business
• Assist accounting managers with reports, etc.
• Involved with A/P & A/R functions; cash receipts
• Assist in accounting schedules & reconciliations.
• Perform miscellaneous administrativeduties as needed

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be enrolled full time in a college/university in a bachelors degree program in Accounting or Finance with a graduation date by December 2027 or May 2028
• Experience in accounting, accounts payable/receivable or bookkeeping preferred
• Must have basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 convicted moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years (Total points on driving record cannot exceed 8 points).
• No drug or alcohol related violations on driving record in the past 3 years.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
• Must be available to work a Full-Time 40 hour schedule during the Summer Internship.
