Job summary

Duluth Entertainment Convention Center Inc. (DECC) is seeking a Suite Server & Attendant to operate in the AMSOIL Arena during events. You will provide food and beverage service to suite holders and single-game renters, ensuring friendly and efficient hospitality from setup to cleanup.

This part-time, event-driven role requires afternoon/evening shifts, weekends, with some weeknights and holidays. You must be able to stand for hours, lift up to 25 pounds, and follow safety protocols.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of customer service experience is required.
• Basic math skills and cash handling skills required.
• Ability to use a point-of-sale system.
• Ability to ensure a high level of customer service
• Ability to adapt to changes, delays, or unexpected events
• Ability to move quickly throughout the complex.
• Ability to stand and walk for hours at a time.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional hospitality while serving food and beverage to suite holders and single game renters.
• Perform exceptional and prompt customer service to all guests.
• Speak courteously to determine guests' needs and assist.
• Assist with catering functions and serve/bartend as required.
• Review event sheets to ensure correct setup.
• Serve hors d’oeuvres or buffet lines as required.
• Place orders and process payments using the point of sale.
• Supply alcohol services in addition to food services for guests.
• Clear, close and clean the suites and service areas.
• Perform opening and closing duties as required.
• Adapt to changes, delays, or unexpected events.
• Create and maintain a professional and hospitable appearance.
• Follow sanitation, health, and safety protocols.
