Job summary

Suite Attendant

Reports to Food & Beverage Manager within Food & Beverage Department at Legends Global.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Pre‑event suite set‑up including chafing dishes, plates and silverware, televisions, lighting and overall ambiance in the suite
• Verify and set‑up all pre‑game/event orders
• Identify suite host and properly introduce yourself
• Take and place game day food and beverage orders
• Set‑up and check on game day food and beverage orders and serve guests until the end of the event
• Replenish food, beverages, condiments and utensils as needed
• Maintain standard of orderliness and cleanliness of suite throughout the event
• Obtain signatures from the host on charges in a timely manner
• Clear all items from the suite and clean all surfaces and chafing dishes in suite
• Reset suite for next function, complete closing functions and check out with supervisor or manager
• Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in a foodservice position
• Previous supervisory experience preferred
• At least 19 years of age and able to pass a credit check
• Excellent guest service skills; ability to adhere to Universal Service Standards
• Ability to complete required pre‑employment sanitation and alcohol service training
• Knowledgeable in operating food service equipment, basic food preparatory techniques, sanitation and safety issues
• Strong verbal and written communication skills – ability to communicate with staff and prepare event plans
• Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to direct work activities of several associates simultaneously and plan ahead
• Highly motivated, able to take initiative, work effectively with others in a fast‑paced environment
• Good customer service skills and ability to develop and enhance guest loyalty
• Must be present for all major events at the Arena

Physical Demands

Regularly required to move around the facility; stand for long hours during events; talk and hear; may require work inside or outside the building. Frequent walking, constant standing, bending, reaching and repetitive motions. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. May be exposed to variable temperatures, including extreme hot and cold.

Working Conditions

Location: Same Auto Arena.
