Job summary

Legends Global, in partnership with ASM Global/Pinnacle Bank Arena, is seeking a Suite Porter/Runner to support food & beverage service during events. You will deliver orders from the kitchen to guests and assist with dessert carts and suite bussing.

No experience is required, but 6 months to 1 year in restaurant or banquet hospitality is preferred. This part-time, hourly, non-exempt role offers opportunities to work at a premier venue in Lincoln, NE.

Summary

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for Suite Porter/Runner for ASM Global/Pinnacle Bank Arena. The Suite Porter/Runner works with servers to deliver food and beverage orders from kitchen to guest, in accordance with Legends Global's Universal Service Standards and applicable Operational Standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Delivers orders from kitchen to guest in an efficient and timely manner
• Completes opening and closing side work as assigned
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor and manager
• Assist dessert carts with restocking/serving of desserts during event
• Bus suites, with the suite attendant's approval, taking empty dishes to the kitchen
• Must adhere to SMG dress code which includes wearing black pants and non-slip soled closed toe shoes

Education and/or Experience

• No experience required; 6 months to 1 year of restaurant or banquet hospitality experience preferred

• Excellent guest service skills; ability to adhere to Company's Universal Service Standards
• Ability to multi-task in many different areas and work with a sense of urgency in a fast paced environment
• Ability to follow job procedures and supervisor instructions

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand and remain stationary for entire length of shift
• Ability to complete required pre-employment food and alcohol service training
• Constant walking, bending, reaching and repetitive motions
• Ability to perform normal lifting of stock, up to 50 pounds
• This position may require work inside or outside of the building, as needed by events
