Job summary

Legends Global, a leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an opening for a Suite Porter/Runner for ASM Global/Pinnacle Bank Arena. Responsibilities include delivering food and beverage orders from kitchen to guest, and working with servers to support event service.

No experience required; 6 months to 1 year hospitality experience preferred. The role requires standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds, with a flexible schedule for events.

Responsibilities

• Delivers orders from kitchen to guest in a timely and efficient manner.

• Buses suites and transports dishes to the kitchen with approval from the suite attendant.
• Adheres to SMG dress code (black pants, non-slip closed-toe shoes).

POSITION: Suite Porter/Runner

DEPARTMENT: Food & Beverage

REPORTS TO: Catering & Premium Services Manager

FLSA STATUS: Part-Time Hourly, Non-Exempt

Summary

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for Suite Porter/Runner for ASM Global/Pinnacle Bank Arena. The Suite Porter/Runner works with servers to deliver food and beverage orders from kitchen to guest, in accordance with Legends Global’s Universal Service Standards and applicable Operational Standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Delivers orders from kitchen to guest in an efficient and timely manner
• Completes opening and closing side work as assigned
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor and manager
• Assist dessert carts with restocking/serving of desserts during event
• Bus suites, with the suite attendant’s approval, taking empty dishes to the kitchen
• Must adhere to SMG dress code which includes wearing black pants and non-slip soled closed toe shoes

Education and/or Experience

No experience required; 6 months to 1 year of restaurant or banquet hospitality experience preferred

Skills and Abilities

• Excellent guest service skills; ability to adhere to Company’s Universal Service Standards
• Ability to multi-task in many different areas and work with a sense of urgency in a fast paced environment
• Ability to follow job procedures and supervisor instructions

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand and remain stationary for entire length of shift
• Ability to complete required pre-employment food and alcohol service training
• Constant walking, bending, reaching and repetitive motions
• Ability to perform normal lifting of stock, up to 50 pounds
• This position may require work inside or outside of the building, as needed by events
