Job summary

Legends Global, in Lincoln, AL, is seeking a Suite Porter/Runner to support the catering team during events. You’ll deliver food and beverage orders from kitchen to guest, assist with side work, restocking, and bussing suites as needed, all while following Universal Service Standards.

No experience is required; 6 months to 1 year in restaurant or banquet hospitality is preferred. The role requires standing long hours and lifting up to 50 pounds, with a part-time schedule.

POSITION: Suite Porter/Runner

DEPARTMENT: Food & Beverage

REPORTS TO: Catering & Premium Services Manager

FLSA STATUS: Part-Time Hourly, Non-Exempt

Summary

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for Suite Porter/Runner for ASM Global/Pinnacle Bank Arena. The Suite Porter/Runner works with servers to deliver food and beverage orders from kitchen to guest, in accordance with Legends Global’s Universal Service Standards and applicable Operational Standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Delivers orders from kitchen to guest in an efficient and timely manner
• Completes opening and closing side work as assigned
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor and manager
• Assist dessert carts with restocking/serving of desserts during event
• Bus suites, with the suite attendant’s approval, taking empty dishes to the kitchen
• Must adhere to SMG dress code which includes wearing black pants and non-slip soled closed toe shoes

Education and/or Experience

• Ability to multi-task in many different areas and work with a sense of urgency in a fast paced environment
• Ability to follow job procedures and supervisor instructions

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand and remain stationary for entire length of shift

• Ability to complete required pre-employment food and alcohol service training

• Constant walking, bending, reaching and repetitive motions
• Ability to perform normal lifting of stock, up to 50 pounds
• This position may require work inside or outside of the building, as needed by events
