Proof Of The Pudding seeks Suite Servers for Allen, TX venues. You will provide excellent guest service in suite and banquet settings, assist with food distribution, and uphold safety standards. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Set up suites, clubs and buffet stations with decor as needed.
  • Serve and clear food/beverage quietly and professionally.
  • Refill buffets and ensure correct items are served.
  • Provide excellent guest service in a fast environment.
  • Coordinate with FOH Manager to ensure flawless service.

From weddings and holiday parties to corporate retreats and social gatherings, our catering team delivers unforgettable events with creative menus, seamless service, and elevated design expertise.Proof of the Pudding, the food service provider for the Credit Union of Texas Event Center is looking for Suite Servers In this role, you will provide excellent customer service, help create a positive dining experience, be responsible for the distribution of food items to customers in a banquet and or suite setting and to provide exceptional customer service to all Proof of the Pudding guests and clients. Adhere to food safety standards and TABC Standards. We are offering competitive pay and on-the-job training at one of the most scenic venues in Allen.This is seasonal/part-time work as business needs are dictated by athletic events and catered events.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESEnsure the setting up of suites, clubs, and buffet stations which may include décor.Serve and clear food and beverage quietly, professionally, and quickly, using proper serving and clearing techniques.Set out, move, and carry food products and equipment from prep area to service area.Refill buffets as needed with full understanding of what is being served.Provide excellent guest service experience while working in a very fast-paced environment.Keep work area clean and coordinate actions with the FOH Manager to ensure flawless customer service.Managing time effectively.Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed.Maintain good grooming and personal hygiene.Knowledge of event menu items and their contents.Ensure all sanitation procedures are followed.Performs other related duties as required.QUALIFICATIONSEducation and/or Experience:High school diploma or equivalentKnowledge of upscale/VIP service styles required.Communicate well and convey instructions written and verbalMust work well in a team environmentAbility to work independently and in a high-stress, fast-paced environmentMust be able to perform simple mathematical calculationsFood Handler CertificationServSafe certified or is available to receive training.TABC certified or is available to receive training.Specialized Qualifications:Excellent listening and communication skills.Renowned time management and organization skillsStrong Customer Service skills with the desire to go above and beyond a client’s needs.The ability to work alone and as a team.Strong attention to detail and the ability to learn and adapt quickly.Must be exceedingly responsible and accountable.Work EnvironmentThe work environment for this position will be event operations and working throughout Frisco Roughriders Field.Uniform RequirementsAdherence to Company Uniform Requirements outlined in the Associate Handbook, uniform requirements outlined in your orientation guidelines.Physical Demands:Prolonged periods of being in one place, moving through the Premium spaces, storage rooms and suites.Bending, lifting, scooping, and carrying miscellaneous equipment and food items.Ability to perform physical tasks, such as but not limited to, lifting approx. 30+ lbs.Basic reading and mathematical skills.CORE VALUE AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTSBusiness Acumen - Demonstrate comprehension of the job, including policies, practices, and relationships.
