Job summary

Proof Of The Pudding, the food service provider for athletic events in Atlanta, is seeking cashiers to provide strong customer service at concessions stands during busy event days.

This seasonal/part-time role offers on-the-job training and a fast-paced environment supporting catering and service at the CUTX Event Center and beyond. Join a team that prioritizes presentation, accuracy, and guest satisfaction, with uniforms provided and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food & beverage industry or customer service role required.
• Proven customer service skills, experience communicating with clients at events.
• ServSafe certified or is available to receive training.
• TABC certified or is available to receive training.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong customer service at concessions stands.
• Assist in stocking supplies and keep display areas neat and clean.
• Inform kitchen staff when food quantities are low or requests arise.
• Explain daily menu items to customers accurately.
• Follow department policies and sanitary practices.
• Handle financial transactions and ensure correct orders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are offering competitive pay and on-the-job training.This is seasonal/part-time work as business needs are dictated by athletic events.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAlways appear in proper uniform and look presentable when on the floor or at assigned areaAssist in the stocking of supplies in counter area, display refrigerators, salad bar, and steam table neatly, accurately, and in a timely mannerInform kitchen staff in a timely manner when food quantities are low or special requestsDisplay food within appropriate temperatures as per standardsMaintain appropriate portion control and merchandising standardsKeep display equipment clean and free of debris during meal serviceClean tables, chairs, equipment and utensilsKeep counter and floor in work or service area clean and free of debrisAccurately explain daily menu items to customersFollow department policies and proceduresRelay relevant comments received from customers directly to supervisorComply with sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness and maintenance of kitchen and/or dining areasPick up food items from serving bar or storage area.Check orders to ensure that guests are receiving a complete and correct orderResponsible for all financial transactionsComply with all TABC lawsPerform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as assignedPerforms other related duties as required.QUALIFICATIONSEducation and/or Experience:High School diploma or equivalent preferredExperience in food & beverage industry or customer service role required.Proven customer service skills, experience communicating with clients at events.ServSafe certified or is available to receive training.TABC certified or is available to receive training.
