Job summary

Proof of the Pudding is expanding into the greater Dallas area, bringing culinary excellence and hospitality to events. The position is based at the Credit Union of Texas Event Center in Allen, TX, where you will deliver food from the kitchen to guests' suites and support both front-of-house and back-of-house staff.

You will communicate orders, address allergies, assist with table settings, ensure proper food temperatures, refill water, clear dishes, and respond to guest questions about

Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers’ suites rapidly and accurately
• Act as the contact point between Front of the House and Back of the House staff
• Communicate food orders to chefs, paying attention to priorities and special requests (e.g. food allergies)
• Assist the wait staff with table setting by fetching and placing appropriate tableware, eating utensils and napkins
• Ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards (e.g. proper temperature)
• Check in with customers and take additional orders or refill water, as needed
• Remove dirty dishes and utensils
• Answer guests’ questions about ingredients and menu items
• Responsible for both pre & post event set-up/break down responsibilities
• Ensures security of company assets
• Performs other related duties as required
