Job summary

Paycom - ATS seeks a dedicated prevention professional to deliver upstream suicide prevention education and training across community settings. The role focuses on evidence-based practices, outreach events and building coalition partnerships with schools, healthcare and community organizations.

Responsibilities include data collection, intervention and follow-up, plus postvention support after events. A trauma-informed, collaborative approach and ongoing professional development are essential.

Qualifications

• Formal training in behavioral health as part of a Bachelor’s Degree program.
• Experience in suicide prevention, behavioral health or community outreach preferred.
• Maintains knowledge of standards of care through continuing education.
• A valid state-issued driver’s license is required.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Implements prevention and upstream strategies in community settings.
• Provides evidence-based suicide prevention education and training.
• Conducts outreach events, awareness campaigns and presentations.
• Disseminates materials aligned with best practices and messaging.
• Builds partnerships with schools, healthcare, veteran services and coalitions.
• Collects and reports data on outreach, training participation and outcomes.
• Delivers intervention, screening, safety planning and referrals for at-risk individuals.
• Provides follow-up and postvention support after suicide events.
• Coordinates postvention support with families, schools and workplaces.
