Paycom - ATS in Athens, GA is seeking a paraprofessional social services worker to provide intake support, crisis intervention, and family-centered services in a Behavioral Health Crisis Center. The role emphasizes direct client interaction, care planning, and coordination with the treatment team.

Under supervision, you will assist with daily living activities, document sessions, and connect clients to community resources.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of social services experience.
• Alternate pathway: 2 years of college credits in a social services field (≥15 credits).

Responsabilités

• Assist clients with activities of daily living as needed.
• Picks up meals/snacks and assists with mealtime; cleans up afterwards.
• Transports samples to lab and coordinates client transportation to appointments.
• Meet with clients and families to address issues per treatment plans.
• Provide social/psychological support through active listening and guidance.
• Document care activities, monitor clients, and participate in care planning.
• De-escalate with safety techniques and participate in restraints when required.
• Prepare rooms for new clients and connect clients with community resources.
• Maintain confidential client records and communicate with care teams.

Formation

High school diploma or GED

2 years at college with 15 social services credits
