Job summary

American Indian Association of Tucson is seeking a dedicated Suicide Prevention, Intervention, and Post-vention (SPIP) specialist to coordinate services and support for individuals, families, and communities. You will conduct outreach, case management, and referrals while maintaining client confidentiality.

The role emphasizes collaboration with tribal and health partners to deliver culturally responsive care and education across Tucson. Experience in community engagement is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in health, human services, or business fields is required or preferred.
• Experience in case management and resource coordination within Native communities is highly valued.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate cultural awareness when engaging with clients.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate SPIP services with outreach, engagement, and referrals.
• Develop care plans and connect clients to housing, healthcare, and mental health resources.
• Document encounters and referrals in the client’s electronic health record.
• Maintain relationships with tribal and non-tribal agencies for referrals and care coordination.
• Deliver education materials and participate in community education events.
