Job summary

Sugarloaf Resort is seeking creative and motivated Prep Cooks for the upcoming winter season. You will play a key role delivering high-quality meals at our resort F&B locations and for events, with pay starting at $20-24/hour depending on experience and with great perks.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and prior kitchen experience is preferred. Weekdays, weekends, and holidays availability needed. Join a dynamic team in a beautiful, unparalleled location.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to guidelines and recipes.
• Ensure quality taste and presentation.
• Keep line stations stocked and communicate orders to Executive Chef.
• Coordinate production with cooks, wait staff and F&B team.
• Perform closing procedures: cleaning, sanitation and organization.
• Assist team with other tasks as assigned.
• Familiarize yourself with all kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to food handling guidelines, cooking procedures, and follow any recipes.
• Prepare food ensuring quality taste and presentation.
• Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations and be able to communicate food and product orders to Executive Chef.
• Communicate and coordinate production with other cooks, wait staff and members of the food and beverage team.
• Perform closing procedures including equipment maintenance and shut off, cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas.
• Work with the team to complete other tasks as assigned.
• Possess knowledge and become familiar with all kitchen equipment.

Candidates must be willing to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed. Must be at least 18 years old. Prior kitchen experience is preferred.
