Job summary

Qualifications

• Must pass tests measuring basic skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Must be 18+ years old with a good work record.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English to follow instructions.
• Experience operating heavy equipment such as articulated dump trucks and pay loaders.
• Must obtain skidsteer, forklift and boomlift certification within 30 days.
• Subject to drug testing and pre-employment background screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate the VHP dryer to meet product quality specifications.
• Operate sugar scales and conveyors to handle sugar in bulk.
• Drive articulated dump trucks and pay loaders to load, transport and stack sugar.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain clean, organized, hazard-free work areas and report issues.
• Communicate clearly with Shift Manager and plant personnel.
