Job summary

United States Sugar Corporation seeks a Raw Sugar Warehouse Operator to work a rotating shift, with overtime including weekends and holidays. You will operate the VHP dryer, sugar handling systems, dump trucks and pay loaders to move sugar within the warehouse, always adhering to safety and quality standards in a 24/7 manufacturing setting.

Reporting to the Shift Manager, you will perform routine inspections, assist in minor repairs, document equipment status, and maintain clean, organized work

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak English to comprehend instructions, communicate via radio, and ensure safety.
• Must have 12 months full-time experience operating heavy equipment in the past 5 years (dump trucks or pay loaders).
• Must obtain skidsteer, forklift and boomlift certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate VHP dryer to meet product quality specs.
• Operate sugar scales and conveyors to transfer sugar to/from warehouses.
• Drive articulated dump trucks and pay loaders to load, transport and stack sugar.
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and document equipment status.
