Job summary

Michigan Sugar Company in Fremont, OH, is seeking a Warehouse Utility Person to load, unload, and ship products, operate sugar-handling equipment, and maintain inventory accuracy across shifts.

Responsibilities include safe operation of equipment, adherence to GMP/SQF, performing inspections, collecting samples, and keeping a clean, organized warehouse to support continuous production flow.

Qualifications

• Learn and safely operate inbound/outbound sugar-handling equipment (scrolls, elevators, screens, silos).
• Monitor and inspect silos, bins, elevators, conveyors; report issues.
• Operate reclaim scrolls to maintain silo levels and crater conditions.
• Maintain vacuum and dust collection systems.
• Handle shipping/receiving with attention to accuracy and records.

Responsibilities

• Support safe movement, storage, loading, unloading, and shipment of sugar and materials.
• Work with Warehouse Supervisor and teams to maintain product flow and meet requirements.
• Follow GMP, AIB, SQF policies and submit samples to QC as required.
• Perform production protection checks and complete required documentation.
