Job summary

ASR Group is seeking a Process Engineer II to provide engineering services for sugar processing at the refinery, focusing on improving melt throughput, reliability, recovery, and sucrose loss performance. The role requires a hands-on approach, strong field presence, and collaboration with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Reliability, and Engineering teams.

Five years of Chemical or Process Engineering experience is desired, with a BS in Engineering.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Engineering with emphasis on chemical/process preferred.
• Experience in process optimization, data-based decisions, and continuous improvement.
• Experience across capital projects and cross-functional coordination.

Responsibilities

• Develop methods to improve existing processes through automation and new tech.
• Collaborate with control engineers to optimize process controls.
• Troubleshoot issues and implement sustainable solutions in field.
• Identify opportunities to increase throughput, recovery, and reduce losses.
• Lead process projects from scope to execution and follow-through.
• Provide hands-on operational support during startups and shutdowns.
