Job summary

U.S. Sugar is seeking a Temporary Raw Sugar Warehouse Operator to run the VHP dryer and sugar handling systems in a 24/7 warehouse setup. You will transport and stack bulk sugar using dump trucks and pay loaders under supervision, with adherence to strict safety and quality standards.

The role requires operating heavy equipment, maintaining equipment, and documenting activities while communicating with the Shift Manager and plant personnel. Overtime and weekend work are routine.

Qualifications

• Must pass company tests that measure basic skills and aptitude.
• Must be 18 years or older with a good work record.
• Must read, write and speak English to follow instructions and stay safe.
• Must have 12 months full-time work in past 5 years operating dump trucks or pay loaders.

Responsibilities

• Operate the VHP dryer to meet product quality specs.
• Operate scales and conveyors to move sugar to/from warehouses.
• Drive dump trucks and pay loaders to load, transport, and stack sugar.
• Assist with maintenance, refueling, lubrication, and part changes.
• Record equipment status and maintenance performed; stay safety compliant.
