Job summary

United States Sugar Corporation seeks a Temp Raw Sugar Warehouse Operator to work rotating shifts, including weekends/holidays, in a 24/7 manufacturing setting. You will operate the VHP dryer, sugar handling systems, dump trucks and pay loaders to transport, stack and store bulk sugar under strict safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include equipment inspections, basic maintenance, troubleshooting, and accurate documentation, reporting to the Shift Manager.

Qualifications

Must pass tests designed to measure basic skills and mechanical aptitude.
Must be 18 years or older with a good work history.
Ability to read, write and speak English to follow instructions and safety rules.
Experience operating articulated dump trucks or similar heavy equipment preferred.
Must obtain skid-steer, forklift and boomlift certifications within 30 days of being awarded the job.
New hires must pass a drug test and background screening.

Responsibilities

Operate the VHP dryer to meet product quality specs.
Operate sugar scales and conveyors to transfer sugar between warehouses.
Drive dump trucks and pay loaders to load, transport, and stack sugar.
Perform routine inspections, refueling, lubrication and minor maintenance.
Assist in mechanical repairs and troubleshoot equipment issues.
Document equipment status and maintenance performed.
Maintain clean, organized, hazard-free work areas and communicate with Shift Manager.
