American Sugar Refining is seeking a 3rd shift Utility to pack brown, powdered, and private label sugar. The role involves loading bags, inspecting seals, and maintaining a clean production area in a fast-paced plant setting.

You will assist operators, handle labels, and help prevent contamination while meeting safety and quality standards. Training and career growth opportunities are provided, with a shift differential and bonus potential.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Prior packaging experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to work 12 hour shifts.

Responsabilités

• Pack finished goods into cases and palletize; lift up to 50 lbs.
• Check packaging quality: back seal, end seals, date codes.
• Maintain cleanliness around the production line.
• Assist machine operator and perform basic stop/start if needed.
• Label boxes and ensure correct product type (edible vs non-edible).
• Report contamination and assist in cleaning the plant.
• Support plant operations as needed.
