Job summary

ASR Group is seeking a 1st shift Utility to pack brown, powdered, and private label sugar into cases and pallets. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and maintaining HACCP and quality controls on the production line.

This position offers a 12-hour shift with various shift options, a starting rate of 19.00 per hour, and a benefits package including vacation, bonuses, and health coverage. Training and career growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to work 12 hour shifts as scheduled.
• Must possess great attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced industrial environment.
• Must be able to understand verbal and written English.

Responsibilities

• Pack finished goods into cases, place finished case onto pallet (must be able to lift 50 lbs).
• Check individual packages for quality issues (back seal, end seals, production date code).
• Maintain cleanliness of production area around assigned production line.
• Open re-work, both daily and returned product when necessary.
• Assist machine operator as needed (changing poly, learn basic operations to stop/start machine).
• Label boxes as necessary.
• Be vigilant for any product contamination and report issues.
