Job summary

ASR Group is seeking a 3rd shift Utility to pack and inspect sugar products, maintaining quality and cleanliness on the production line in a fast-paced facility. The role includes lifting up to 50 lbs, operating on a 12-hour shift, and working within HACCP standards.

Starting pay is $19.00 per hour with 24/5 operation options and a benefits package including vacation, quarterly bonuses, and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED preferred but not required
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Must be able to work 12 hour shifts as scheduled
• Must possess great attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced industrial environment
• Must be able to understand verbal and written English
• Results-focused and detailed oriented
• Flexibility to perform other duties when necessary

Responsibilities

• Pack finished goods into cases and place on pallet (must lift up to 50 lbs).
• Check packages for quality issues: back seal and end seals.
• Record production date codes on bags and boxes.
• Maintain cleanliness around the production line.
• Assist machine operator as needed and learn basic operations.
• Label boxes as necessary.
• Understand basics of metal detectors and HACCP concepts.
• Be vigilant for product contamination and report issues to supervisor.
• Assist in the plant when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
