ASR Group in Buffalo, NY is hiring a 1st shift Utility to pack brown, powdered, and private label sugar. The role involves lifting and palletizing, inspecting packages for quality, and maintaining a clean production area in a fast-paced plant.

Responsibilities include assisting the machine operator, handling re-work, labeling boxes, and supporting plant operations. HS diploma or GED is preferred; prior packaging experience is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Prior packaging experience is preferred but not required.
• HS Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work 12 hour shifts as scheduled.

Aufgaben

• Pack finished goods into cases and place on pallet (lift up to 50 lbs).
• Check bags/boxes for quality issues (back seal, end seals, production date code).
• Maintain cleanliness around the production line.
• Open re-work; assist machine operator as needed.
