Buffalo, NY-based ASR Group is seeking a 3rd shift Utility to support packaging operations. The role involves lifting, quality checks, line cleanliness, and basic machine assistance in a fast-paced plant environment.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED, the ability to work 12-hour shifts, strong attention to detail, and teamwork. Compensation starts at $19.00/hour with applicable shift differentials and opportunities for overtime and advancement.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Prior packaging experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced industrial setting.
• Must understand verbal and written English.
• Able to work 12-hour shifts as scheduled.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Must work well with others and be flexible to other duties.
• Knowledge of HACCP basics and metal detectors is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Pack finished goods into cases and palletize (lifting up to 50 lbs).
• Check packages for quality issues (back seal, end seals, production date code).
• Maintain cleanliness around the production line.
• Open re-work and handle returned product.
• Assist machine operator and learn basic operations.
• Label boxes as needed.
• Differentiate edible vs non-edible products.
• Assist in plant cleaning when required.
• Understand HACCP basics and metal detectors, report contamination.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
