Job summary

Amalgamated Sugar Company in Twin Falls, ID is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee factory operations from sugar beets to sugar and co-products, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in every shift. You will lead production teams, manage budgets, coordinate maintenance, and enforce company policies and GMPs to meet production goals while supporting our grower-owners.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of experience in factory operations and supervision.
• Completion of high school.
• Flexibility in work schedule when needed.
• Extensive knowledge of factory operations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise factory production and operations to maximize safety, quality and efficiency.
• Train and maintain a safe and efficient crew with proper job procedures.
• Oversee maintenance, write work orders, review repairs and install new equipment during campaigns.
• Manage assigned operating and/or maintenance budgetary accounts.
• Direct factory and warehouse operations in absence of management, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ensure quality control of all products and co-products.
• Coordinate with management to resolve issues related to operations, safety, quality and environment.
• Develop and communicate process control analysis using PARC view, lab data, JDE and MS Excel.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
