Job summary

United States Sugar Corporation is hiring a Sugar Processing Technician to operate and maintain sugar-processing machinery across affination, white side centrifugals, press floor, and decolorization. You will perform quality checks and SQF documentation while following SOPs and GMP guidelines.

The role requires one year of production or maintenance experience, with a preference for two+ years in food or chemical industries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of technical school or maintenance certification preferred.
• Microsoft Excel certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate sugar-processing machinery per SOPs and GMP guidelines.
• Troubleshoot equipment and request assistance when needed.
• Perform cleaning, inspection, and lubrication of machinery.
• Conduct quality checks and document SQF-related records.
• Maintain area cleanliness using 5S principles.
• Write work orders and near-miss safety reports.
