Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. - DBA IES Electrical, based in Suffolk, VA, is seeking a Recruiter to manage end-to-end staffing for skilled trades and electrical roles. The role emphasizes compliance with hiring policies, and proactive sourcing across online channels.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of staffing experience in skilled trades, knowledge of ATS, strong communication, and the ability to collaborate with HR and management. Travel may be required, and visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• 2 years' skilled trades staffing experience; electrical industry experience preferred.
• PRC certification a plus
• 1 year experience using Applicant Tracking and Pipeline Recruiting software
• Knowledge of MS Office and internet/resource navigation
• Strong oral and written communication, detail-oriented
• Hands-on, self-starter with ability to juggle multiple priorities
• Pass pre-employment background and MVR checks when required

Responsibilities

• Perform all functions related to the recruiting process and ensure compliance with company hiring policies.
• Develop and implement open requisition and pipeline recruiting activities; review recommendations with HR.
• Post jobs externally using internet, social media, and other online resources.
• Assist in communicating internal job postings and employee referral programs.
• Maintain timely ATS updates with reasons for rejections, interviews, and final dispositions.
