Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in SUE, utility locating, or related field.
• Familiarity with SUE methods (QL-B, QL-C, QL-D/QL-A).
• Ability to read and interpret construction and utility plans.
• Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform subsurface utility investigations using GPR, electromagnetic locators, and vacuum excavation techniques.
• Accurately locate and identify underground utilities (gas, electric, water, telecom).
• Prepare and interpret field sketches, utility drawings, and as‑built data.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field staff to ensure accurate reporting and safe excavation.
